Responsibility
- Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure on-time delivery of products while optimizing resource utilization.
- Oversee inventory control processes, including stock levels, reorder points, and cycle counting to minimize excess and shortages.
- Implement and monitor Material Requirement Planning (MRP) systems to align production with demand forecasts.
- Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and production teams to streamline material flow and reduce lead times.
- Generate and analyze production and inventory reports using advanced Excel tools to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and company policies in all planning and inventory-related activities.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and lower operational costs.
- Train and mentor staff on PPIC best practices, tools, and software to maintain high performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Production Planning, Inventory Control, or MRP within the manufacturing sector, preferably in furniture or aluminum production.
- Proficient in Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) and familiar with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian is required.
