Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for assigned product categories, aligning with JD.com's business objectives and market demands.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers, conducting thorough due diligence to ensure quality, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate competitive pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to maximize value and minimize supply chain risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Logistics, Finance, Operations) to optimize procurement processes and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry benchmarks to identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation.
- Manage supplier relationships, resolving issues and fostering long-term partnerships to ensure consistent supply and service excellence.
- Leverage data analytics and procurement tools to track KPIs, forecast demand, and make data-driven decisions.
- Ensure compliance with JD.com's procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field. MBA or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or logistics.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using procurement software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tableau).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
- Experience working in a multicultural or international environment is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote/hybrid setting.
