Responsibility
- Lead and manage the full procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, contracting, and supplier performance evaluation.
- Oversee Ariba platform implementation and optimization for S2C and P2P processes.
- Develop and execute procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with organizational goals.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to mitigate risks and identify opportunities.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior procurement team members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven expertise in Ariba procurement platforms (S2C, P2P) and supplier management.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience in contract management and compliance in a regulated environment.
- Ability to work independently and lead remote or hybrid teams effectively.
- Familiarity with procurement in the education or public sector is advantageous.
