Responsibility

  • Lead and manage the full procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, contracting, and supplier performance evaluation.
  • Oversee Ariba platform implementation and optimization for S2C and P2P processes.
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with organizational goals.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier performance to mitigate risks and identify opportunities.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior procurement team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven expertise in Ariba procurement platforms (S2C, P2P) and supplier management.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in contract management and compliance in a regulated environment.
  • Ability to work independently and lead remote or hybrid teams effectively.
  • Familiarity with procurement in the education or public sector is advantageous.
