Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers to meet company procurement needs, ensuring quality and cost-efficiency.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure the best value for the company while maintaining strong relationships.
- Issue and manage purchase orders (POs), track deliveries, and resolve discrepancies to ensure timely procurement.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., finance, operations) to align procurement activities with business goals and inventory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance for audits and reporting.
- Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Coordinate logistics, shipping, and customs clearance for international and local procurement as needed.
- Provide administrative support, including document management, meeting coordination, and office operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or a related industry.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess supplier proposals, pricing, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with ERP or procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal); additional languages are a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in data entry, record-keeping, and reporting.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and solve problems proactively.
