Responsibility
- Lead the end-to-end procurement process for raw materials, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to optimize supplier performance and reduce procurement costs.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure the best value for Mattel.
- Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, logistics, finance) to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with Mattelās standards.
- Manage supplier relationships, resolving issues proactively and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Prepare and present procurement reports, including cost analyses, savings achievements, and supplier performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.
- Proven track record in negotiating contracts, cost reduction, and supplier management.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis, cost modeling, and procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement best practices.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
