Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to meet production requirements while minimizing costs.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers, ensuring alignment with quality and delivery standards.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure the best value for the company.
- Monitor supplier performance, addressing any issues related to quality, timeliness, or compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, finance, and logistics) to forecast material needs and avoid shortages.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new sourcing opportunities.
- Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve discrepancies to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory levels, and supplier communications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles, preferably in manufacturing.
- Proven track record in cost negotiation, supplier management, and contract administration.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data for informed decision-making.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and procurement software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
