Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Perform quality checks using precision instruments and tools to verify product specifications, including weight, size, texture, and appearance.
- Document and report any deviations, non-conformities, or quality issues to the production and management teams for corrective action.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify root causes of quality issues and implement preventive measures to minimize defects.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to food safety protocols, including HACCP, GMP, and other relevant regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and quality control activities for audits and compliance purposes.
- Assist in the development and improvement of quality assurance procedures and standards to enhance product consistency and safety.
- Participate in training sessions to stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in food quality and safety.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the food manufacturing or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards, including HACCP, GMP, and ISO 22000.
- Familiarity with quality control tools and techniques, such as statistical process control (SPC) and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies in products.
- Strong communication skills to effectively report findings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and quality management software.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in quality assurance or food safety are a plus.
