Responsibility
- Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for automotive parts and motorpool materials to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure the best deals for the company.
- Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely arrival of materials to support production schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier agreements, and expenditure for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to align procurement activities with business needs.
- Resolve any supply chain issues or delays proactively to minimize disruptions to operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new suppliers, and cost-saving opportunities in the automotive parts market.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to interact effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, forecast demand, and make informed purchasing decisions.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Knowledge of automotive parts, materials, and industry standards is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
