Responsibility
- Conduct thorough inspections of incoming raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Monitor and document warehouse conditions (temperature, humidity, hygiene) to maintain optimal storage environments.
- Implement and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for quality control in warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with production and logistics teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues promptly.
- Perform regular audits of inventory to detect and report discrepancies or defects.
- Assist in the development and updating of quality assurance documentation, including checklists and reports.
- Train warehouse staff on quality control best practices and food safety protocols.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality data and recommending process enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field. Diploma holders with relevant experience may also apply.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in quality assurance, warehouse operations, or a similar role, preferably in the food manufacturing or bakery industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality control standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, GMP) and food safety regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills to identify quality deviations.
- Proficient in using quality management tools and software (e.g., ERP systems, spreadsheets).
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
- Certification in quality assurance (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
