Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to identify cost-effective suppliers and materials.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to secure favorable agreements.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
- Collaborate with production and logistics teams to align procurement with manufacturing schedules.
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and new supplier opportunities.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong relationships to ensure reliability and quality.
- Prepare and analyze procurement reports to track spending, savings, and efficiency metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of inventory control, demand forecasting, and material planning.
- Familiarity with import/export regulations and international sourcing (a plus).
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
