Responsibility
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods, ensuring proper documentation and labeling.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to prevent shortages.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Prepare and process shipment orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures to optimize warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or warehouse management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role within a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items, as well as stand for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a warehouse setting.
