Responsibility
- Develop and implement cargo scheduling plans to ensure timely and efficient transportation of goods.
- Optimize voyage routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency while adhering to maritime regulations.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders, including shipping companies, port authorities, and internal teams, to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and track cargo movements, providing real-time updates and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of cargo schedules, voyage plans, and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and maritime regulations.
- Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Provide support and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Studies, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cargo scheduling, voyage optimization, or a similar role within the maritime or logistics industry.
- Strong understanding of maritime regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficient in using logistics and scheduling software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
