Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations, maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse environment.
- Pick, pack, and issue stock items to fulfill internal and external requests promptly and accurately.
- Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records and identify discrepancies.
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) or manual tracking tools to log inventory movements and updates.
- Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to monitor stock levels and prevent shortages or excesses.
- Prepare and maintain documentation, including delivery notes, receipts, and inventory reports.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure and compliant warehouse operation.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in storekeeping, warehouse management, or inventory control, preferably in the electrical or retail industry.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data and inventory systems.
- Proficient in using inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with internal teams and suppliers.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 20-25 kg) and work in a warehouse environment.
- Basic knowledge of electrical products or willingness to learn industry-specific inventory.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or supply chain is a plus.
