Responsibility
- Oversee daily operations of the Fresh, Produce, and Bakery departments, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize waste and optimize stock levels for perishable goods.
- Lead, train, and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and customer service excellence.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts, source premium products, and maintain cost-effective procurement.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and adjust pricing or promotions to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure adherence to food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, local health codes) and company policies across all departments.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to execute in-store promotions, seasonal campaigns, and loyalty programs for Fresh and Bakery products.
- Prepare and present financial reports, budgets, and KPIs to senior management, with actionable insights for improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, Food Technology, or a related field. MBA or advanced certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in retail operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role overseeing Fresh, Produce, or Bakery departments.
- Proven track record in inventory control, supplier negotiations, and P&L management for perishable goods.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) and local/regional retail regulations.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in retail management software (e.g., ERP, POS systems) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility for occasional weekends or holidays.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is an advantage.
