As a key member of our team, you will oversee the end-to-end stock movement processāfrom receiving and storing goods to documenting and dispatching them. Responsibility
- Manage and monitor stock levels, ensuring accurate recording of all incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Coordinate with suppliers, logistics teams, and internal departments to facilitate timely receipt and delivery of goods.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Organize and maintain storage areas, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
- Prepare and process documentation for stock transactions, including delivery notes and inventory reports.
- Assist in periodic stock-taking and cycle counting to verify inventory records.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) as required, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to forecast demand and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in storekeeping, inventory management, or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, ERP systems) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to liaise with cross-functional teams.
- Physical stamina to handle manual tasks, including lifting and moving stock items.
- Knowledge of FIFO/LIFO inventory methods and best practices in stock control.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in warehouse environments.
