Responsibility
- Manage and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock for production and operations.
- Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to facilitate the timely procurement and distribution of materials.
- Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile inventory records to ensure accuracy.
- Organize and maintain the storage area to ensure easy access and efficient use of space.
- Process incoming and outgoing shipments, including verifying quantities and documenting transactions.
- Prepare and maintain reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to inventory management.
- Assist in the implementation of inventory control measures to minimize losses and optimize stock levels.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or inventory management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role within the manufacturing or logistics industry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with various teams.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining inventory records.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to inventory handling and storage.
