Responsibility
- Lead and implement HACCP and FSSC 22000 food safety management systems to ensure compliance with international standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to identify and mitigate quality and safety risks.
- Develop, review, and update quality control procedures and documentation to align with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze quality control data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Train and educate staff on food safety protocols, hygiene practices, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during inspections and certifications.
- Ensure all products meet company and customer specifications before release.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quality control within the food manufacturing industry, preferably in processed meat.
- In-depth knowledge of HACCP, FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, and other food safety standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret quality data and implement improvements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and collaborate with teams.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management.
- Certification in HACCP or Food Safety Management is a plus.
- Familiarity with laboratory testing methods and equipment used in food quality control.
