Responsibility
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of retail associates to deliver exceptional customer service and meet sales targets.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and timely restocking to meet customer demand.
- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of cash sales, deposits, and sales reports in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain store appearance and merchandising standards to create an inviting and organized shopping environment.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the store manager to implement promotional strategies and achieve sales goals.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate company updates, performance feedback, and training opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail supervisory or managerial role, preferably in the sports or apparel industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Proven ability to drive sales, manage inventory, and maintain operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer applications for sales reporting and inventory management.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Business Administration or related field is a plus.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by store operations.
