As a Store Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the efficiency of our warehouse operations. Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inspecting, and storing goods from local and international suppliers.
- Ensure accurate inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reconciling discrepancies.
- Oversee the organization and maintenance of storage areas to optimize space and ensure easy retrieval of items.
- Lead and train storekeeping staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance to meet productivity targets.
- Implement and enforce safety, security, and hygiene standards in the warehouse to comply with company policies and regulations.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to forecast inventory needs and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Prepare and maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, including deliveries, issuances, and returns.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery issues, ensure timely restocking, and negotiate favorable terms where applicable.
Qualifications
- Minimum Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in a supervisory role within warehouse, inventory, or store management.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems and warehouse management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage a team effectively.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records and efficient workflows.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic data analysis.
