Responsibility
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of store associates to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and place orders to maintain optimal product availability.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing to enhance the customer shopping experience.
- Handle cash management, including daily sales reconciliation, deposit preparation, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail or customer service role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership position.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management, cash handling, and retail operations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by store schedules.
- Proficient in using POS systems and basic computer applications for reporting and inventory management.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in retail management is a plus.
- Familiarity with FamilyMart products and services is an advantage.
