As a key member of our dynamic set-up team, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring every new Nitori store opens seamlessly, on time, and to the highest standards. From coordinating logistics to executing visual merchandising, you’ll contribute to creating an exceptional shopping experience for customers. This role is ideal for ambitious individuals eager to grow within a fast-paced, international retail environment.

Responsibility

  • Assist in the end-to-end setup of new Nitori stores, including furniture assembly, product placement, and display arrangement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (logistics, merchandising, and management) to ensure timely and efficient store launches.
  • Execute visual merchandising standards to align with Nitori’s brand identity and customer experience goals.
  • Conduct quality checks on store layouts, signage, and product displays to meet company guidelines.
  • Support inventory management, including receiving, organizing, and tracking stock during store setup.
  • Train and guide new hires on store operations, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges to minimize delays in store opening timelines.
  • Document setup processes and provide feedback to improve future store launch efficiencies.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in retail, merchandising, or store operations (fresh graduates with strong potential are encouraged to apply).
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift/move furniture and perform hands-on tasks as required.
  • Keen attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing retail spaces.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management or logistics is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel within Bali and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, during store setup periods.
  • Proactive attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow into leadership roles.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages (Bahasa Indonesia) is advantageous.
