Responsibility
- Assist in daily planning and coordination of store and PMC operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, including receipt, storage, and issuance of materials.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies to prevent shortages or excesses.
- Prepare and submit reports on inventory levels, material usage, and operational performance.
- Implement and maintain standardized procedures for material handling, labeling, and storage.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to forecast material requirements and place orders as needed.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory management, or production material control, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and reporting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge of aluminium or metal manufacturing processes is a plus.
