Responsibility
- Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and sales performance to ensure profitability and efficiency.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 20+ staff, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and customer-centric service.
- Implement and monitor KPIs (e.g., sales targets, customer satisfaction scores, inventory turnover) and develop action plans to meet or exceed goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health/safety regulations, and local labor laws.
- Collaborate with corporate teams to execute promotional campaigns, seasonal displays, and loyalty programs tailored to Bali’s market.
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and source high-demand local and international products.
- Resolve customer escalations professionally, turning challenges into opportunities for service recovery and brand loyalty.
- Optimize store layout and visual merchandising to enhance the shopping experience and maximize sales per square meter.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of retail management experience, with at least 2 years in a Store Manager role for a supermarket, hypermarket, or large-format retailer.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth, reducing operational costs, and improving team performance.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage multicultural teams.
- Fluency in English (required); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Tech-savvy with experience in POS systems, inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced retail environment.
