Responsibility

  • Product Development & Design: Lead the design process for seasonal collections, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics, market trends, and customer preferences.
  • Merchandising Strategy: Develop and execute merchandising plans to optimize product assortment, pricing, and inventory levels for maximum profitability.
  • Supplier & Warehouse Coordination: Liaise with suppliers and warehouses to ensure timely delivery of fabrics, materials, and finished products, resolving any logistical challenges.
  • Trend Analysis: Conduct market research and trend forecasting to identify emerging styles, colors, and materials, integrating insights into design and merchandising strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, and production teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and seamless execution of campaigns.
  • Quality Control: Oversee product quality standards, conducting regular reviews to ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Sustainability Initiatives: Champion eco-friendly practices by sourcing sustainable materials and promoting ethical production processes.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales performance, inventory turnover, and customer feedback to inform future strategies.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Textile Design, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fashion design and merchandising, preferably in retail or consumer products.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CAD) and familiarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of global fashion trends, fabric sourcing, and production processes.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Analytical Abilities: Ability to analyze market data, sales reports, and customer insights to drive informed decisions.
  • Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Cultural Awareness: Sensitivity to local and international fashion trends, with an appreciation for Bali’s unique artistic and cultural influences.
