Leader Marine (Singapore) Pte Ltd is currently seeking a dedicated Store Assistant to join our warehouse operations team in Tuas. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth flow of marine spare parts and equipment, which are critical to our global shipping partners.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of inventory—from receiving and inspecting incoming shipments to accurately picking, packing, and dispatching marine supplies. Responsibility
- Perform accurate physical inventory counts and reconcile records with the warehouse management system.
- Inspect incoming marine supplies for quality, quantity, and compliance with documentation.
- Coordinate the effective storage and organization of equipment within the warehouse.
- Pick, pack, and prepare goods for shipment ensuring items are packaged securely for maritime transport.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and strictly adhere to health and safety (WSH) protocols.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of cargo containers and delivery trucks.
- Operate manual or electric pallet jacks to transport materials safely across the warehouse floor.
Qualifications
- Minimum GCE 'N' or 'O' Level, or a Nitec certification in Logistics or a related field.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations, stock management, or logistics is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills for inventory data entry.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to manage stock accuracy.
- Basic understanding of marine industry parts is an added advantage.
- Willingness to work in the Tuas area.
