As a Stockroom Assistant, you will manage the proper rotation of goods, support the Stockroom Manager, and contribute to the overall success of our retail operations. Responsibility
- Manage the receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory according to company guidelines.
- Ensure accurate and efficient rotation of stock to maintain freshness and organization.
- Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the retail team to fulfill product requests promptly and accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized stockroom environment.
- Support the Stockroom Manager in daily operations and special projects.
- Handle and process returns, exchanges, and transfers with precision.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and security protocols within the stockroom.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or retail is a plus.
- Proven experience in stockroom, warehouse, or retail inventory management.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
