Responsibility
- Conduct daily inspections of stewarding areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with hygiene standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of stewards, providing training and performance feedback to maintain high operational standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and kitchenware, ensuring timely restocking and cost-effective procurement.
- Collaborate with culinary and F&B teams to coordinate dishwashing, pot washing, and kitchen support services.
- Implement and monitor sanitation protocols in accordance with local health regulations and company policies.
- Oversee waste management and recycling initiatives to promote sustainability within the property.
- Maintain accurate records of stewarding activities, including equipment maintenance logs and staff schedules.
- Assist in budget planning and expense control for the stewarding department.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in stewarding or housekeeping management within a luxury hotel or resort.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to train and motivate teams.
- Knowledge of hygiene standards, sanitation protocols, and inventory management systems.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Certification in hospitality management or related field is advantageous.
