Responsibility
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all dining, kitchen, and service areas.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining spaces, ensuring tables, chairs, and equipment are properly arranged.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing equipment, ensuring all utensils, glassware, and cookware are cleaned and stored efficiently.
- Support the culinary team by preparing ingredients, restocking supplies, and assisting with basic food preparation as needed.
- Handle waste disposal in accordance with hygiene and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service during peak hours.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Uphold the club’s values of professionalism, teamwork, and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a steward, kitchen assistant, or similar role in hospitality is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move equipment for extended periods.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
