Responsibility
- Assist chefs and kitchen staff with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and marinating ingredients.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
- Support inventory management by tracking stock levels and notifying supervisors of low supplies.
- Follow strict food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Help with plating and presenting dishes according to established standards.
- Operate kitchen machinery (e.g., mixers, grinders) safely and efficiently.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper rotation of perishable items.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food service environment (entry-level candidates with passion are encouraged to apply).
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 kg.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Fluency in English or Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
