Responsibility
- Assist in the preparation and baking of bread, pastries, cakes, and other bakery products according to standardized recipes.
- Measure and mix ingredients, operate baking equipment, and ensure consistent product quality.
- Monitor inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients, and notify supervisors of low stock.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workspace in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Decorate and present baked goods attractively for display and customer service.
- Collaborate with the bakery team to fulfill daily production targets and special orders.
- Follow proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Assist in packaging and labeling products for retail and wholesale distribution.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a bakery, café, or similar food production environment (fresh graduates with a passion for baking are encouraged to apply).
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient measurements, and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately with a keen eye for detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kg.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification in food safety or hygiene is a plus.
- Creative mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new trends in baking.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
