Responsibility
- Operate, monitor, and maintain natural gas and biomass boilers to ensure continuous and efficient steam production.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to steam systems, boilers, and auxiliary equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards in boiler operations.
- Optimize boiler performance by adjusting controls, monitoring fuel consumption, and improving energy efficiency.
- Maintain accurate logs and records of boiler operations, maintenance activities, and safety checks.
- Collaborate with production teams to align steam supply with operational demands and schedules.
- Implement and adhere to emergency response protocols for boiler malfunctions or safety incidents.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., Boiler Operator License) are a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in operating and maintaining industrial boilers, preferably in natural gas or biomass systems.
- Strong knowledge of steam generation principles, pressure systems, and combustion processes.
- Familiarity with PLC systems, automation controls, and boiler safety protocols.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety, with a track record of adhering to OSHA or equivalent industrial safety standards.
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
