Responsibility
- Design and develop bulk gas and special gas systems for industrial and commercial applications.
- Prepare and review technical specifications, tender documents, and project proposals.
- Monitor and supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of gas systems to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for gas system projects.
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for gas system-related issues.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in chemical and gas engineering.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on technical and project management aspects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and managing gas systems, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting.
- Strong knowledge of gas system regulations, safety protocols, and industry standards.
- Proven experience in tendering, project management, and stakeholder coordination.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and team members.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
