Responsibility
- Lead the design, implementation, and governance of the Backend Academy’s competency and capability framework to align with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain industrial engineering standards, methodologies, and best practices for backend operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process inefficiencies and propose data-driven solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or other process optimization methodologies.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers and team members to enhance technical and operational skills.
- Analyze performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of engineering frameworks and recommend enhancements.
- Partner with HR and L&D teams to design training programs that upskill backend engineering talent.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Infineon remains at the forefront of industrial engineering innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in industrial engineering, with a focus on backend operations, manufacturing, or process optimization.
- Proven expertise in competency framework development, process improvement, and governance in a high-tech or semiconductor environment.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Power BI) and statistical process control.
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt), or similar methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to influence cross-functional teams.
- Experience in talent development, training, or academy leadership is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining high productivity and collaboration.
