Responsibility
- Develop and optimize semiconductor process applications using advanced materials and engineering techniques.
- Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and customer teams to design, test, and implement innovative solutions for material deposition, etching, and surface treatment.
- Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting and resolving complex engineering challenges in production environments.
- Conduct feasibility studies and prototype testing to validate new materials and processes for scalability.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including process specifications, reports, and training materials.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product performance, yield, and cost-efficiency.
- Support customer engagements by providing expert technical guidance and on-site assistance when required.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure Applied Materials remains at the forefront of materials innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor processing, thin-film deposition, or materials engineering.
- Proven expertise in process development, characterization, and optimization for advanced materials.
- Strong knowledge of CVD, PVD, ALD, or etching processes and related equipment.
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Python, MATLAB) and statistical process control (SPC).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a track record of delivering innovative solutions.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, multicultural environment and communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
