Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems for projects in Bali.
- Conduct feasibility studies, load calculations, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with local and international electrical codes (e.g., PUIL, NEC).
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and contractors to integrate electrical designs into broader project plans.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and as-built drawings.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians, providing guidance on best practices and emerging technologies in electrical engineering.
- Stay updated on industry trends, such as smart grids, energy efficiency, and renewable energy integration, and apply them to projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on system design, project management, or maintenance.
- Professional certification (e.g., Sertifikat Ahli Ketenagalistrikan) or membership in a recognized engineering body (e.g., PII).
- Proficient in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or Dialux.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian electrical regulations (PUIL) and international standards (IEC, IEEE).
- Experience with renewable energy systems (solar, wind) or energy management systems is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
