Responsibility
- Design, develop, and implement PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programs using industry-standard platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric).
- Integrate and configure SCADA, HMI, and DCS systems for real-time monitoring and control of industrial processes.
- Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and software teams to ensure seamless system integration and interoperability.
- Conduct factory acceptance testing (FAT) and site acceptance testing (SAT) to validate system performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation system failures, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, user manuals, and system architectures.
- Optimize existing automation systems to improve efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Stay updated with emerging automation technologies (e.g., IoT, Industry 4.0) and recommend innovative solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in PLC programming (e.g., ladder logic, structured text) and industrial control systems.
- Proficiency in SCADA/HMI software (e.g., WinCC, Ignition, FactoryTalk View) and communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, OPC UA).
- Hands-on experience with system integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting in industrial environments.
- Strong knowledge of industrial standards (IEC 61131, ISO 13849) and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in fast-paced projects.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) with strong technical documentation skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites in Bali and potentially Southeast Asia as needed.
