Responsibility
- Lead and oversee manufacturing engineering activities in engine overhaul and component repair production areas, ensuring adherence to aerospace industry standards and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, quality assurance, and production, to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex manufacturing challenges and ensure smooth production operations.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to address production issues and minimize downtime.
- Monitor and evaluate production performance metrics, identifying opportunities for process optimization and innovation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements in all manufacturing activities.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and production staff to build a high-performing team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 5 years in the aerospace industry, specifically in engine overhaul or component repair.
- Proven expertise in aerospace manufacturing processes, including machining, assembly, and testing.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards such as AS9100, NADCAP, and FAA/EASA regulations.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA) and manufacturing process simulation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
