Responsibility
- Lead the design, analysis, and optimization of mechanical systems for LTA and M&E projects, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and transportation infrastructure.
- Develop and review technical drawings, specifications, and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including civil, electrical, and structural engineers, to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into project designs.
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses for mechanical solutions, ensuring alignment with budget and timeline constraints.
- Oversee procurement, vendor selection, and material sourcing for mechanical components, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Monitor project progress, perform site inspections, and resolve technical issues to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Implement sustainable and energy-efficient designs, incorporating green building principles and renewable energy solutions where applicable.
- Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and presentations for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on LTA, M&E, or infrastructure projects (preferably in Singapore or Southeast Asia).
- Professional certification (e.g., PE, CEng, or equivalent) is highly advantageous.
- Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP), BIM (Building Information Modeling), and simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, SolidWorks).
- Strong knowledge of international standards (ASHRAE, ISO, BS) and local regulations for mechanical systems.
- Excellent project management skills, with experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing budgets up to USD 5M+.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia and adapt to a fast-paced, culturally diverse work environment.
