Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians to ensure timely and efficient resolution of all property-related issues.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural systems to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections of building systems, equipment, and facilities to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, renovations, and compliance-related work.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations, fire codes, and local building standards to maintain a secure environment for guests and staff.
- Manage maintenance budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource allocation to support cost-effective operations.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to guest services.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., Housekeeping, Engineering) to align maintenance activities with operational needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent technical certification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in building maintenance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Proven expertise in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance systems.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, fire codes, and OSHA standards applicable to hospitality environments.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage a diverse team.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to support 24/7 operations.
- Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
