Responsibility
- Lead and supervise mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to design specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Oversee the design, installation, and maintenance of piping systems, including pressure testing, material selection, and compliance with ASME, ASTM, and other relevant standards.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including civil, electrical, and process engineers, to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into broader project scopes.
- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions to mitigate project delays or safety hazards.
- Develop and review technical drawings, P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and BOMs (Bill of Materials) to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
- Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and present updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local and international safety, environmental, and quality standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO).
- Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical project supervision, with a strong focus on piping systems, HVAC, or industrial machinery.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end mechanical projects in industrial, commercial, or oil & gas sectors.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or PDMS) and project management tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
- In-depth knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASME B31.1, B31.3, API, etc.) and material specifications.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage teams and resolve technical challenges.
- Familiarity with safety protocols, HAZOP studies, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bali and occasionally to other regions in Indonesia.
