Responsibility
- Develop detailed AutoCAD drawings for civil and structural engineering projects, including plans, elevations, and sections.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to interpret design concepts and translate them into accurate technical drawings.
- Perform reinforced concrete and steel detailing with adherence to industry standards and local building codes.
- Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications.
- Prepare and modify drawings based on feedback from project managers, engineers, and clients.
- Organize and maintain digital drawing files, ensuring version control and easy retrieval.
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents, including bills of materials and shop drawings.
- Stay updated with the latest AutoCAD tools, plugins, and industry best practices to enhance efficiency and quality.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in drafting for civil and structural engineering projects.
- Proficient in AutoCAD (2D and 3D) with a strong portfolio showcasing reinforced concrete and steel detailing work.
- Familiarity with BIM software (e.g., Revit) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, including load calculations and material specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) to liaise with international teams and clients.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering blueprints.
- Proactive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
