Responsibility
- Develop and refine detailed technical drawings for ACMV and semiconductor systems using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or SolidWorks).
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design intent and ensure accuracy in drawings.
- Prepare shop drawings, as-built drawings, and fabrication drawings with adherence to industry standards (e.g., ASHRAE, SMACNA).
- Review and validate drawings for compliance with local regulations, safety codes, and client specifications.
- Optimize layouts for space efficiency, energy performance, and system functionality in semiconductor and industrial facilities.
- Maintain organized document control systems and version tracking for all project deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance to junior drafters and support cross-functional teams in resolving design challenges.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in ACMV and semiconductor facility design.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Drafting, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in technical drafting, with a focus on ACMV systems and semiconductor facilities.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or equivalent) and familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling).
- Strong understanding of HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems in industrial or cleanroom environments.
- Experience with international standards (e.g., ISO, ASME) and local building codes.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce error-free, high-precision drawings.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
