Responsibility
- Design, develop, and oversee the installation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems for commercial and industrial sites.
- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, schematics, and specifications for electrical projects, ensuring accuracy and feasibility.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to coordinate electrical work, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Monitor and maintain electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, and backup power systems, to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and enforce electrical safety protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and training to junior engineers, technicians, and on-site personnel.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; licensed Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE) or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in site electrical engineering, preferably in power infrastructure, industrial, or commercial projects.
- Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, or Revit) and familiarity with industry standards (NEC, IEC, or local regulations).
- Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, motor controls, PLCs, and renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex electrical systems and propose cost-effective solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical schematics.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bali and adhere to flexible work schedules as needed.
