Responsibility
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on stationary equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment status.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
- Order and manage inventory of spare parts and supplies needed for equipment maintenance.
- Provide training and guidance to junior technicians and operations staff on equipment handling and safety.
Qualifications
- Diploma or vocational training in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Stationary Equipment Technician or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency maintenance calls as needed.
