Responsibility
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, technical support, and operational requests within the data center.
- Monitor and maintain data center infrastructure, including power, cooling, and network systems, to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to execute maintenance, upgrades, and emergency repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues and implement proactive solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and connectivity, ensuring minimal disruption to customer operations.
- Document all operational activities, incidents, and resolutions in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
- Assist in the onboarding of new customers, including equipment installation, configuration, and testing.
- Provide training and guidance to junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data center operations, IT infrastructure, or a similar technical role.
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, including power distribution, cooling systems, and network connectivity.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a high-availability environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
- Certifications such as CDCP (Certified Data Centre Professional), ITIL, or CCNA are highly desirable.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and on-call rotations as needed.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for data center operations and security.
