Responsibility

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs in compliance with local regulations and international standards (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, etc.).
  • Lead risk assessments, hazard identification, and incident investigations to proactively mitigate workplace risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Oversee the management of hazardous materials, waste disposal, and environmental impact assessments to minimize ecological footprint.
  • Design and deliver engaging EHS training programs for employees at all levels, fostering a culture of safety awareness and accountability.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and HR teams to integrate EHS best practices into daily workflows and long-term strategic planning.
  • Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, including incident rates, near-misses, and compliance audits, to senior management and regulatory bodies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for EHS-related inquiries from employees, contractors, and government agencies.
  • Stay abreast of emerging EHS trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure continuous improvement and innovation in safety practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in EHS management, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or chemical processing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian EHS regulations (e.g., K3, PP 50/2012) and international standards (ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001).
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful EHS programs, including risk assessments, incident investigations, and training initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EHS management software (e.g., SAP EHS, Intelex, or similar).
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
