As a Staff Utility, you will be responsible for the maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of various utility infrastructures, including HVAC, water treatment systems, steam boilers, and compressed air systems. Responsibility
- Operate and monitor utility equipment such as chillers, compressors, water treatment plants, and steam boilers to ensure consistent production support.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance (PM) according to the established schedule to prevent equipment downtime.
- Conduct immediate troubleshooting and repairs on utility systems to minimize production interruptions.
- Monitor and record utility consumption metrics, ensuring optimal energy efficiency and resource management.
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure all utility systems meet GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering strictly to safety and environmental protocols.
- Assist in the documentation of maintenance logs, equipment performance reports, and spare parts inventory management.
Qualifications
- Minimum Vocational High School (SMK) or Diploma (D3) degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical fields.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in utility or facility maintenance, preferably within the pharmaceutical, food, or chemical manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, water treatment processes, and electrical control panels.
- Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex technical issues promptly.
- Good knowledge of GMP, K3 (Occupational Health and Safety), and ISO standards.
- Ability to work in a shift pattern as required by manufacturing operations.
- Highly disciplined, self-motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a technical team.
