As a Staff Test Engineer, you will serve as a technical lead, driving the end-to-end development of test source code and spearheading initiatives to reduce test times while maintaining rigorous quality standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional global teams to troubleshoot complex test solutions, optimize production workflows, and implement enhancements that drive operational efficiency. Responsibility
- Develop, maintain, and enhance sophisticated test source code for complex semiconductor products.
- Lead initiatives for test time reduction (TTR) and yield improvement to optimize production throughput.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting of test solutions, identifying root causes for hardware and software-related issues.
- Collaborate with Design and Product Engineering teams to define test strategies and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices in test engineering.
- Manage the deployment and validation of new test hardware and software releases.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance the robustness and reliability of test platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in semiconductor test engineering, specifically in ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) environments.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, or similar scripting languages used in test development.
- Strong background in hardware debug, probe, and final test methodologies.
- Experience with industry-standard test platforms (e.g., Advantest, Teradyne).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead technical projects and work effectively in a global collaborative environment.
