Responsibility
- Lead and manage a high-performing research team focused on power electronics, including converters, inverters, and energy storage systems for data centers.
- Drive innovation in next-gen power architectures, improving efficiency, reliability, and scalability for hyperscale and edge computing environments.
- Develop and implement R&D strategies aligned with LITEON’s long-term vision for sustainable and high-performance data center solutions.
- Collaborate with global teams to integrate power electronics advancements into commercial products, ensuring seamless transition from lab to market.
- Oversee testing, validation, and prototyping of new power systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and performance benchmarks.
- Stay ahead of industry trends in power electronics, AI-driven energy management, and green data center technologies.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
- Present findings and roadmaps to senior leadership and stakeholders, advocating for resource allocation and strategic priorities.
Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in power electronics R&D, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (for Manager) or 8+ years in leadership (for Senior Manager).
- Proven track record in designing and deploying power systems for data centers, renewable energy, or industrial applications.
- Expertise in high-frequency power conversion, wide-bandgap semiconductors (SiC, GaN), and digital control algorithms.
- Strong project management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams in a global R&D environment.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., IEEE, UL, IEC) and regulatory compliance for power electronics.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Passion for sustainability and a commitment to developing energy-efficient, eco-friendly power solutions.
