Responsibility
- Monitor and manage pollution control systems to ensure compliance with local and national environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of campus facilities to identify potential environmental hazards or pollution risks.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste, emissions, and energy consumption across campus operations.
- Collaborate with facilities management teams to maintain and upgrade mechanical systems for optimal performance.
- Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
- Train staff and students on best practices for pollution prevention and sustainable resource use.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for environmental audits, testing, and remediation projects.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in pollution control and sustainability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities management, pollution control, or environmental compliance.
- Strong knowledge of environmental laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Experience with pollution control equipment, HVAC systems, and energy management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address environmental challenges.
- Proficient in using environmental monitoring tools and software.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with regulatory agencies, staff, and students.
- Certification in environmental management or pollution control is a plus.
